PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple selective medium which, despite being a simple medium, matches an agar medium in usability and colony detectability while being transparent.SOLUTION: A simple selective medium includes a membrane formed over at least a portion of the surface of a waterproof flat plate, the membrane substantially uniformly containing: (a) a water-soluble high polymer; (b) water-soluble fibers; (c) cell culture components; and (d) a coloring agent. |
