PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery system which can maximize the effective capacity at the time of connecting a plurality of batteries in series, by suppressing variation in the battery capacity of secondary batteries or battery blocks to be connected, and to provide a storage battery system construction method.SOLUTION: The storage battery system is configured by connecting battery blocks A1-B2 each having a plurality of secondary batteries that can be charged and discharged. A parallel stabilization period for reducing the potential difference of the battery blocks by connecting the battery blocks, to be connected in series, in parallel for a certain time or longer is provided when configuring the system, and the battery blocks are connected in series upon elapsing the stabilization period, in the storage battery systems 10, 11. A storage battery system construction method is also provided. |
