PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for adaptive packet transmission.SOLUTION: A method includes: specifying a first Timer_Status_Prohibit (TSP) parameter in a first device; measuring a Round Trip Time (RTT) parameter between the first device and a second device; on the basis of the RTT parameter and category information of a user device for the second device, determining a second TSP parameter different from the first TSP parameter; and when the second TSP parameter is larger than the first TSP parameter by at least a predefined threshold value, transmitting the second TSP parameter to the second device.
