An LED lamp and a method of fabricating the same are provided to improve light emitting intensity by emitting the incident light into the bottom surface of a cup unit to the outside and preventing the loss of emitted light which is brought into again. A first lead(21a) has a cup unit(23) and a leg extended from the cup unit. A second lead is separated from the first lead. An LED(25) is mounted within the cup unit of the first lead. A transparent separation layer(30) is inserted between the LED and the cup unit, so as to separate the LED from the cup unit. Bonding wires connects the LEDs with the first and second leads. A first hardened resin(31) covers the LED. A second hardened resin(33) containing a phosphor material, and covers the first hardened resin. Sealing resin(35) seals off the first and the second hardened resin, a part of the second lead, and the cup unit of the first lead. |
