PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece transfer apparatus for transferring right and left workpieces at high speed while controlling them to have different postures.SOLUTION: A workpiece transfer apparatus 1 includes: a pair of right and left arms 2, 2 reciprocating between apparatuses to transfer a workpiece W; a crossbar unit 3 installed between the arms; right and left workpiece holding devices 4, 4 installed in the crossbar unit; and right and left tilt drive devices 5, 5 installed on the arms, respectively to rotate the holding devices individually. The crossbar unit includes: a long inner member 6 having both ends supported by the pair of arms; and right and left cylindrical outer members 7 installed on the outer periphery of the inner member and rotated by the right and left tilt drive devices. The holding devices are mounted to the outer members, respectively, and at least one of the outer members is installed rotatably on the outer periphery of the inner member. An outer end of the outer member is connected to the drive device, and an inner end extends inwardly along the inner member. |
