PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink for ink-jet printing use excellent in fixability onto printing media and print denseness.SOLUTION: An aqueous ink for ink-jet printing use includes: acidic carbon black-containing water-insoluble polymer particles; resin particles; and a 3-5C diol, wherein a water-insoluble polymer constituting the water-insoluble polymer particles comprises: carboxyl-containing monomer (a)-derived constituent units and phenoxypoly(ethylene glycol-propylene glycol) (meth)acrylate (b)-derived constituent units, wherein the average addition number of moles of ethylene oxide(EO) constituting component (b) is 1-12 and the average addition number of moles of propylene oxide(PO) is 1-12, the total addition number of moles being 2-13. |
