PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device that can decrease the influence by the sprung vibration suppression control in execution of the drive system parts protection control.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes: a sprung mass damping control part 21 to control sprung mass vibration of a vehicle by controlling the output to the driving source for traveling; a driving system part protection control part 22 that protects the driving system part of the vehicle based on output of the driving source for traveling; and a bad road determination part 25 that determines whether the road surface where the vehicle travels is a bad road or not. When the bad road determination part 25 determine that the road surface is a bad road, the sprung mass damping control part 21 reduces output control amount to the driving source for traveling. |
