PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable prevention of theft of a vehicle without performing a normal starting operation after the warm-up operation in the remote control operation, while being able to start the running.SOLUTION: When a prescribed preparation operation to make a vehicle run is performed before a normal starting operation of an engine after the engine is started by receiving a start signal from a portable device, the started engine is stopped. However, when receiving an identifying signal from the portable device after starting the engine and before a normal starting operation, the started engine is not stopped, even if the preparation operation is done. and the effect with a proper the identifying signal is attested. This makes a driver unnecessary of a normal starting operation, since the engine does not stop when the effect of a proper identifying signal from the portable device is attested. As a result, theft can be prevented, though the driver boards the vehicle and can travel as it is from the state that the engine is started by remote control. |
