PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device made of a light-emitting diode and a phosphor and having high light-emitting efficiency without being glaring.SOLUTION: The lighting device includes a light-emitting diode 13, a transparent ceramic phosphor 8 for emitting light by absorbing light emitted from the light-emitting diode 13 and having a light guide function, and a reflecting sheet 9 for covering the vicinity of the transparent ceramic phosphor 8. The transparent ceramic phosphor 8 has a light incident surface wherein the light emitted from the light-emitting diode 13 enters, and a light emitting surface for emitting light, and the other surfaces excepting the light incident surface and the light emitting surface are covered with the reflecting sheet 9. |
