PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a motor control apparatus and a motor control method therefor with which the motor control apparatus can autonomously and actively detect whether a vehicle collides.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a motor control apparatus, and particularly to a motor control apparatus and a motor drive control method therefor with which the motor control apparatus controlling an electrically driven motor autonomously detects vehicle collision to autonomously control a state of driving of the motor. The motor drive control method for the motor control apparatus includes determining whether a relevant vehicle collides, and stopping the driving of the motor according to whether the vehicle collides. |
