PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new portable terminal for enhancing efficiency of preparation of writings by voice recognition, and an editing guiding program applied to a processor of the portable terminal.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 10 comprises a second microphone 16b for taking in voice of a user, and applies voice recognition to the voice input to the second microphone 16b to generate a character string. In addition, when generating the character string by the voice recognition, calculated likelihood is used as reliability of the voice recognition, and the generated character string and the reliability corresponding to the character string are recorded in a reliability table. The character string whose reliability of a threshold or less is specified on the basis of the reliability table, and background color of the specified character string of low reliability is colored in blue color to be displayed on an LCD monitor 26. Since a candidate of an erroneous recognition character string is displayed so as to be determined at a glance, the user easily determines the need of editing and can efficiently create writings by using the voice recognition. |
