PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rivet contact combining a contact material and a base material in which the contact material does not peel nor shed and thereby excellent durable life is ensured.SOLUTION: In the rivet contact consisting of a head and a foot narrower than the head, the head consists of a contact layer where at least the upper surface is composed of an Ag-based contact material, the remaining part of the head and the foot are composed of a base material of Cu or a Cu alloy, and a barrier layer composed of an Ag-alloy is provided on the bonding surface of the contact material and base material. An Ag alloy produced by adding 0.03-20 mass% of one kind or more of base metal element selected from Sn, In, Cu, Ni, Fe, Co, W, Mo, Zn, Cd, Te, Bi to Ag is used suitably as the Ag alloy composing the barrier layer. |
