In order to provide a cable relay carriage having a pole, capable of preventing interference between a vehicle travel path and a cable, and capable of preventing damage to the cable, and a system for supplying power to an electric work machine, the relay carriage (30) comprises: a cable drum (34) that holds the cable (70) that transmits power; a cable support pole (40) that supports the cable (70), held by the cable drum (34), at a position higher than the height of a vehicle that travels the travel path that intersects the position where the cable (70) is arranged; and a travel device (50) connected to the cable drum (34) and the cable support pole (40), and which performs a travel operation such that the cable drum (34) and the cable support pole (40) are caused to move. In addition, the power supply system (20) for an excavator (1) being an electric work machine comprises the relay carriage (30) and the excavator (1) being the electric work machine driven by power supplied by the cable (70) relayed by the relay carriage (30). |
