摘要 Disclosed is a complex oxide for hydrocarbon reforming catalysts, which can maintain catalytic activity at a high level for a long time.  A method for producing the complex oxide and a method for producing a synthetic gas using the complex oxide are also disclosed.  The method for producing a complex oxide comprises: a preparation step wherein a mixed solution for impregnation containing one or more kinds of catalytically active components selected from the group consisting of Co and Ni and containing at least Co, one or more kinds of oxidation resistance-improving components selected from the group consisting of group 3B elements and group 6A elements of the periodic table, and one or more kinds of additional metal components selected from the group consisting of Ca and Mg; an impregnation step wherein a supporting body composed of a porous molded body selected from magnesia and composites of magnesia and calcia is impregnated with the mixed solution for impregnation; a drying step wherein the supporting body impregnated with the mixed solution for impregnation is dried; and a firing step wherein the supporting body dried in the drying step is fired in an oxidizing atmosphere.  The complex oxide for hydrocarbon reforming catalysts can be obtained by this method.
