PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate that has a polarizer and a transparent protective film bonded to each other by an adhesive, has good adhesiveness, satisfies optical characteristics of high transmittance and high polarization degree, and can suppress leakage of light on a short wavelength side.SOLUTION: A polarizing plate has a transparent protective film provided on at least one surface of a polarizer with an adhesive layer and an easy adhesive layer interposed therebetween in this order from the polarizer side. The easy adhesive layer is formed of a polymer resin composition containing 0.1 to 3 parts by weight of water-soluble reductant relative to 100 parts by weight of a polymer resin.
