PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator of an adsorption type refrigerator, capable of being reduced in size and weight, by efficiently performing heat exchange between a medium and an object to be cooled.SOLUTION: An evaporator of an adsorption type refrigerator includes: a vacuum container 22; a liquid supply pipe 18 for making a condensated and liquefied medium flow into an upper part in the vacuum container; a partition member 23 for partitioning the interior of the vacuum container into upper/lower sides, and for making the upper side as a storage unit 24 for temporarily storing the medium from the liquid supply pipe and the lower side as an evaporation unit 26 for cooling an object to be cooled; a notch groove 28 formed in the outer periphery of a partition member and for dispersing the medium stored in the storage unit to flow in the evaporator; and a vapor recovery pipe 19 arranged in the partition member inside from the notch groove and for recovering the evaporated and rising medium and returning the medium to an adsorbent. |
