The purpose of the present invention is to provide a microchip for which confirmation of the filling of a solution into analysis regions can be easily performed from outside of the microchip. Provided is a microchip having a liquid introduction part, analysis regions serving as the location where analysis is performed on a substance contained in the liquid or the reaction product of such a substance, display regions for indicating that filling of the analysis regions with the liquid is complete, and channels for connecting the introduction part, the analysis regions, and the display regions. The channels are configured so that the time it takes until the liquid introduced from the introduction part reaches the display regions is longer than the time it takes until the liquid introduced from the introduction part fills the analysis regions. |
