Disclosed are a method, network device and base station for paging narrow terminal in embodiments of the present invention. the method comprises: determining the paging message for paging the narrow band terminal, sending to the base station the paging message including the narrow band terminal information, thus the base station acquiring the wireless capability of the narrow band terminal according to the narrow band terminal information, and transmitting the paging message according to the wireless capability of the narrow band terminal, In embodiments of the present invention, after determining the paging message for paging the narrow band terminal, as adding the narrow band terminal information into the paging message, the base station could transmit the paging message according to the wireless capability of the narrow band terminal, and thus the paging message can be monitored by the terminal to guarantee and the paging access of the narrow band terminal can be enabled. |
