Provided are a liquid crystal display panel (100) and a display device employing same. In a first pixel region (R) of a second substrate (120), a backbone part (124) and a branch part (125) of a second electrode (121) have a first preset angle (theta1); in a second pixel region (G), the backbone part (124) and the branch part (125) of the second electrode (121) have a second preset angle (theta2); and the first preset angle (theta1) and the second preset angle (theta2) are different. A half wavelength pattern phase difference sheet (160) is adhered to the outside surface of a first substrate (110) or the second substrate (120). The problems of colour shift and transmittance reduction of the liquid crystal display panel (100) can be improved.
