PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a soft start time.SOLUTION: A soft start voltage generation section 11 for a power unit 1 includes a pulse signal detection section 134 for detecting a pulse signal S11 to increase a soft start voltage Vss with a first slope before detection of a pulse signal S11 and increase a soft start voltage Vss with a more moderate second slope than that of the first slope after detection of the pulse signal S11.
