PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent backfire upon restarting gas supply to a main burner in a cooking stove burner, which includes a main burner 1, a sub burner 2, a gas volume adjusting means 62 for adjusting a gas volume supplied to the main burner and to the sub burner interlocking with an operation of an operation piece 7 for adjusting fire power, and a main burner extinguishing means 63 for stopping gas supply to the main burner and extinguishing the main burner while continuing gas supply to the sub burner when the operation piece is operated to pass over a prescribed switching position C toward a low heat position A, and which restarts gas supply to the main burner to transfer the flame from the sub burner to the main burner, when the operation piece is operated to pass over the switching position toward a high heat position B.SOLUTION: A cooking stove burner is configured to inhibit restarting of gas supply to a main burner 1 until a prescribed standby time has passed after a main burner extinguishing means 63 stops the gas supply to the main burner 1, even when an operation piece 7 is operated to pass over a switching position C toward a high heat position B. |
