PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an electric passage connecting between a high voltage battery and a traveling motor to be interrupted even when a battery control device fails in a vehicle electric power supply device for a vehicle mounted with the high voltage battery.SOLUTION: A vehicle electric power supply device 1 includes a traveling motor 2, a high voltage battery 3 for supplying drive electric power to the traveling motor 2, and relays 13, 14 controlling the electric power output from the high voltage battery 3 to either supply continuation or supply stop, wherein the vehicle electric power supply device turns on or off the relays 13, 14 to continue or interrupt the supply of electric power. The vehicle electric power supply device includes: a vehicle control device 8 for controlling driving power of the traveling motor 2; a battery control device 10 for managing the state of the high voltage battery; and a relay control circuit 15 for turning on the relays 13, 14 to continue the supply of electric power only when both of an output signal of the vehicle control device 8 and an output signal of the battery control device 10 indicate the continuation of the supply of electric power. |
