PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polysiloxane based compound causing no discoloration around a lead frame and having excellent adhesiveness to a reflector.SOLUTION: This optical semiconductor device includes an optical semiconductor element 1, a silver-plated lead frame 4, and a hardened material of a polysiloxane based composition 3 for sealing the optical semiconductor element and the silver-plated lead frame. The polysiloxane based composition is composed of (A) a polyhedral structure modified polysiloxane obtained by subjecting a compound (b) having a polyhedral structure polysiloxane and a hydrosilyl group and an organic silicon compound (a') having one alkenyl group in one molecule to hydrosilylated reaction, (B) a compound having two or more alkenyl groups in one molecule, and (C) an organic compound expressed by the specific formula, and total luminous flux retention of an LED is 80% or higher after continuous energization for 500 hours at 85°C and relative humidity of 85%. |
