PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush toilet bowl capable of increasing the speed of washing water flowing from the front side of a bowl part into the entrance of a drain trap part, and of improving sewerage discharging performance even when the amount of the washing water used for washing the toilet bowl is set to be smaller.SOLUTION: The flush toilet bowl 1 includes a bowl section 14 including a sewerage receiving face 22, a rim part 24, and a shelf part 30, a water reservoir section 16 formed below the bowl section, and a drain trap conduit 18 connected to the lower end of the water reservoir section. The rim part of the bowl section includes a rim hang-down wall portion 28 extending from the upper face thereof downward near the sewerage receiving face to form a water passage inside. The shelf part of the bowl section includes a rear side shelf portion 32, and a lateral side shelf portion 34. The rear side shelf portion includes a bulge 42 formed to bulge from a center 40 thereof upward to the right and left sides. In the bulge, a residence chamber 46 is formed where washing water supplied from a water storage tank 6 to the center of the rear side shelf portion temporarily resides. |
