PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device in which positional deviation of an electro-optic panel and a case is reduced, and an optical unit, projection type display device, and electronic apparatus provided with the same.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device 100 as an electro-optic device of an application includes a liquid crystal panel 110 as an electro-optic panel, a case 130 having a housing section 131 including a plurality of inner wall surfaces 131a for housing the liquid crystal panel 110, leaf springs 135 as elastic members respectively provided to the plurality of inner wall surfaces 131a of the housing section 131, and an adhesive for filling a gap between the housing section 131 and the electro-optic panel. Each of the four sides of the liquid crystal panel 110 is energized and positioned to the corresponding inner wall surface 131a by the leaf springs 135, and is bonded and fixed to the housing section 131. |
