PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of displaying character information by an appropriate font according to a use environment, and capable of avoiding an abnormal display in which a character is not displayed accurately.SOLUTION: An image formation device 1, functioning as a display device for displaying character information acquired from a Web font server 3 through a communication line, includes: an installation location acquisition unit 143 for acquiring information related to the installation location and the selected language of the Web font server 3; an extension font acquisition unit 144 for acquiring a character font from the Web font server 3 on the basis of the installation location of the Web font server 3 acquired by the installation location acquisition unit 143; a storage unit 15 for storing an extension font 152 acquired from the Web font server 3; and when displaying the character information acquired from the Web font server 3 through the communication line, a browser display unit (display control unit) 141 for displaying the character information using the extension font 152 stored in the storage unit 15. |
