PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in driving torque and the occurrence of turning-up of a blade when an image carrier is driven.SOLUTION: A cleaning member attached to a fixing part and removing developer from a surface of an object to be cleaned comprises: a blade part which is in contact with the object to be cleaned in a counter direction with respect to the movement direction of the object to be cleaned; and a curved support member with flexibility, which is formed of a metal leaf spring material, for supporting the blade part. The support member includes a blade part supporting part provided with the blade part at a tip side, a part to be fixed which is fixed to the fixing part and a curving peak which is placed between the blade part supporting part and the part to be fixed and at a position on the side separated from the surface of the object to be cleaned toward the outside with respect to a line segment connecting a contact part where the blade part is in contact with the object to be cleaned and the part to be fixed. In the support member, the part to be fixed is disposed on the downstream side in the movement direction of the object to be cleaned with respect to the contact part and the blade is supported only by the blade part supporting part. |
