PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual channel management method in a network base multimedia reproduction system.SOLUTION: In response to a command, a determination is made whether or not that command is related to switching of a virtual channel (S10). When the command is related to switching of the virtual channel, a confirmation is made whether or not a channel value corresponding to the command is present in an application virtual channel table (S20). When the channel value is present in the application virtual channel table, an application corresponding to the channel value is determined from the application virtual channel table, and the application is executed (S40). The executed application is set so that digital content is searched for over a network unit of a network base multimedia reproduction system, according to a first operation parameter set corresponding to the application (S50). |
