PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic publication display device which allows a user to easily display an electronic publication in a way that suits preference of the user.SOLUTION: An image/sound search unit 7 searches an image/sound DB 6, in which output location information representing a location and output image data or output audio data are registered in association with each other, based on publication location information associated with electronic publication data, and acquires output image data or output audio data obtained as a result of the search. Once the image/sound search unit 7 acquires the output image data or output audio data, a display control unit 3, based on publication location information associated with a page to be displayed, displays text based on text data associated with the page and either displays a retrieved image based on the acquired output image data or generates sound based on the output audio data. |
