PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compounds useful as inhibitors of Aurora protein kinases.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to compounds useful as inhibitors of Aurora protein kinases. The invention also provides pharmaceutically acceptable compositions including the compounds and methods for using the compounds and compositions in the treatment of various diseases, conditions and disorders. The invention also provides a method for preparing the compounds. Specifically, the invention provides a compound which has metabolic stability in human liver microsomes and/or strongly inhibits a cell growth.
