The hydraulic valve assembly has a valve housing (2), in which a valve hole (14) is formed to guide a valve body, which is biased by a spring arrangement towards a position. A lock nut (30) is provided for securing the spring seat, and has a through opening (32), through which a tool is attached to the spring seat. The lock nut is executed outside the through-opening with an end recess for engagement of the tool. A control valve is provided for pressure control and flow rate control of a hydraulic machine, particularly an axial piston.
