PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell evaluation device which can reduce human labors and can simultaneously stably evaluate a differentiation state into a nerve cell in a non-invasive state.SOLUTION: An image taken from a cell in a process for differentiating from a neuronal precursor cell into a manure nerve cell is inputted from an image-inputting portion. A neurite extraction portion extracts a neurite from an original image based on the taken image inputted from the image-inputting portion. The neurite is a structure appearing in a cell in a process for differentiating from the neuronal precursor cell into the mature nerve cell. A neurite-corresponding decision portion decides the state of the neurite on the basis of a neurite extraction result.
