PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a technology which can suppress the waste of a paper sheet and the deterioration of the quality of photographic printing, in remaining paper sheet processing at a start.SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: an accommodation means for accommodating a long-length recording paper sheet which is rolled in a roll shape; a transfer means for pulling out the recording paper sheet from the accommodation means and transfers it; a printing means for applying photographic printing processing to the recording paper sheet which is transferred up to a photographic printing start position by the transfer means; a cutting means for cutting the recording paper sheet applied with the photographic printing processing at a prescribed cutting position; and a processing means for performing processing which removes the remaining recording paper sheet when the recording paper sheet remaining on a transfer passage is detected at a start. The processing means detects a tip by transferring the recording paper sheet by the transfer means at the start, compares a first distance up to a portion in which the processing means has been located at a bend shaping correction part before the start from the tip with a second distance from the tip necessary for the photographic processing which has been set prior to the start, and sets the longer distance at the cutting position of the remaining recording paper sheet. |
