PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door opening/closing device that holds a sliding door in an opening state only for short seconds so as to allow a handicapped user to pass through the doorway.SOLUTION: A sliding door opening/closing device that allows a sliding door 1 provided to a doorway E to be opened manually and automatically operates to close the sliding door 1 from the opening state includes mechanical opening holding means 2 of holding the sliding door 1 in an opening state only for short seconds even when the hand is put away from the sliding door 1 when the sliding door 1 is manually opened. |
