PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporated fuel treating device and an evaporated fuel treating method capable of securing many chances for executing high-concentration purge.SOLUTION: A charge controlling part 204 calculates a threshold of a charging amount of a battery 110 based on an evaporated fuel adsorption amount of a canister 131, and meanwhile, permits the charging of the battery 110 when a charging amount of the battery 110 is less than a threshold and inhibits the charging of the battery 110 when the charging amount of the battery 110 is the threshold or more. Further, a charging control step includes: a step of calculating the threshold of the charging amount of the battery based on the evaporated fuel adsorption amount of the canister; and a step of permitting the charging of the battery when the charging amount of the battery is less than the threshold, and inhibiting the charging of the battery when the charging amount of the battery is the threshold or more. |
