PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic image display system which generates auxiliary information for easily obtaining a cut-out image of a specific subject.SOLUTION: The system comprises: a photographic image acquisition part 11 for acquiring a photographic image; a person detection part 12 which detects a specific subject satisfying predetermined conditions from the photographic image; a cut-out distorted image generation part 14 which cuts out a partial range of the photographic image as a cut-out range to generate a cut-out image; an auxiliary information generation part 15 which generates auxiliary information for moving the cut-out range toward a position where the specific subject has been detected, when the person detection part 12 detects the specific subject in a range other than the cut-out range in the photographic image; a synthesizing unit 17 which generates a display image containing the generated auxiliary information and the cut-out image; and a display unit 18 which displays the display image.
