The invention relates to a laser arrangement for generating a twice frequency-converted laser radiation, which comprises the following: an active medium (5) that generates a first laser radiation (6) of a first frequency, by the irradiation of pump light (2); a first laser resonator (11) inside of which the first laser radiation (6) circulates while resonating; a first non-linear crystal (9) that is arranged inside the first laser resonator (11) and is provided and configured to convert said first laser radiation (6) into a second laser radiation (10) with a second frequency that is higher than the first frequency; a second laser resonator (14) inside of which the second laser radiation (10) circulates while resonating; a second non-linear crystal (16) that is arranged inside the second laser resonator (14) and is provided and configured to convert the second laser radiation (10) into a third laser radiation (17) with a third frequency that is higher than the second frequency, said first laser resonator (11) and second laser resonator (14) being arranged one relative to the other such that they comprise a shared optical section (15) through which both the first laser radiation (6), circulating in the first laser resonator (11), and the second laser radiation (10), circulating in the second laser resonator (14), pass. The invention is characterised in that the first laser resonator (11) and the active medium (5) are designed and arranged such that the first laser radiation (6) is composed of precisely two adjacent longitudinal modes (30, 31) with two frequencies, the first frequency of the first laser radiation (6) being a sum frequency of these two frequencies, and in that the second laser resonator (14) has an optical path length which only admits a resonance of a single longitudinal mode of the second laser radiation (10). |
