The container (1) has a pot-shaped housing (4) with a heating device (5). A drivable apparatus (6) is provided for conveying of convection in the housing. The drivable apparatus comprises a fan (7) and a fan motor (8). The heating device comprises an electrical operable heating element (9) in the housing. The heating device partly and freely projects into the housing at a full extent. A functional component (10) is provided for conveying of liquid additive from a tank and through the container. The housing is partially made of plastic. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle.
