Disclosed are a method and device for realizing information management using a virtual reality scene. By means of a virtual reality scene, the present invention uses an object in the virtual reality scene space as an entrance to the management of information carriers, realizes information management through the mutual association between the objects of the virtual reality scene and the information carriers, and for information of different sources and of different sorts, only needs to manage same according to the associatively corresponding objects in the virtual reality scene. For multimedia information, such as pictures, videos, audio and the like, manifestation forms thereof are visual, and easy to understand and look up. Secondly, associated information behind the information carriers is all associated with the objects in the virtual reality scene, and a user only needs to concern himself/herself with an object in the virtual reality scene associated with the content to be entered and retrieved by himself/herself, being capable of managing a relevant information carrier by finding the object, without the necessity of concerning himself/herself with a complex path relationship behind the managed information carrier.
