<p>The present invention provides a method for producing an iPS cell and a method for improving the efficiency of the establishment of an iPS cell, each of which involves a step of inducing (1) an episomal vector which carries a nuclear reprogramming factor and (2) an episomal vector which is different from the episomal vector (1) and carries EBNA-1 into a somatic cell. Also provided are: an iPS cell establishment efficiency-improving agent which comprises an episomal vector carrying a nucleic acid encoding EBNA-1; and a kit for producing an iPS cell, which contains an episomal vector carrying a nucleic acid encoding a nuclear reprogramming factor.</p> |
