The technical object of the present invention relates to a light emitting device on which light emitting elements are arranged and a display device, and provides the light emitting device and the display device for preventing a dark area between the light emitting elements. For the technical object, the present invention provides the light emitting device including the light emitting element with at least one non-rotational symmetrical aspheric lens. According to the present invention, the light emitting device has the same effect with the relatively small number of the light emitting elements by the beam profile of the light emitting element with a square distribution and reduces power consumption in comparison with the light emitting device like a backlight. The dark area is removed by supplementing insufficient luminous intensity in a diagonal area of an optical source with the insufficient luminous intensity. The problem of a fill factor is solved by uniformly distributing light. The display device including the light emitting device according to the present invention is thinned by removing a light guide plate.
