Method for the generation of superposed cartographic images

The method involves outputting a set of main images (4) and a set of superimposed images (5) from a set of supports that is arranged relative to a common geographic zone. A main window (4') and a superimposed window (5') are arranged with a set of reticles (16, 17). The reticles are allowed to indicate a common geographical point by which the set of main and superimposed images are made dependent to each other. The set of main and superimposed images are generated by a cartographic information system via the set of reticles displayed by the superimposed window. An independent claim is also included for a cartographic information system.
