The fitting part (4) has a shift lock blocking movement of a longitudinal shifting connecting rod with a window leaf (2), which is pivoted by a frame (1). An edge gear drives the connecting rod. The edge gear, a part of a latch (17) and a guide for a push button are arranged in a common housing (21). The latch holding the window leaf in the frame in a force-fit manner. The housing has a recess for accommodating elastic prestressed body of the latch. The gear has a rail part shifted parallel to the rod. A bar and the rail part are formed as a single piece from steel sheet.
