PURPOSE: A system and a method for assisting creation of book contents using user-based metadata are provided to classify data inputters into differently weighted groups and update metadata according to accumulated data value, thereby reflecting reliable reviews to metadata of book contents. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(30) receives search criteria items from a service providing server(20) for a user to search for a desired boon content through the user terminal(S210, S220). The user terminal which has received the search criteria items is inputted with search keywords from the user and transmits the search keywords to the service providing server(S230, S240). The service providing server isolates basic search keywords from the search keywords and compares the basic search keywords to basic information of book content and each book category for performing a first searching(S250, S260). The service providing server extracts evaluation search keywords form the search keywords and converts the evaluation search keywords to correspond to evaluation search items through ontology synonym search(S270, S280). Final searched book data through a second search is sorted according to the priority and transmitted to the user terminal, and the user terminal outputs the final result to the user(S300, S310).
