PURPOSE: A distribution system and an identification (ID) allocation method thereof are provided to freely allocate the ID of a slave unit to a system by using transmission ports. CONSTITUTION: A master controller checks the ID allocation state of a slave unit (S300). When the slave unit which does not receive a check result and the ID exists, the master controller requests the ID allocation state of the slave unit to the communication module controller of the communication module including a communication module reception port connected to the slave unit (S320). The master controller stores the data including the ID data and the attribute data of the slave unit (S340).
