摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidisc friction engaging device that improves hydraulic reproducibility inside a chamber room upon an operation of a piston without reducing a torque capacity of a drive plate. <P>SOLUTION: A multidisc brake device 1 includes: a piston retainer 10; the piston 12; a plurality of separator plates 14; a friction material disk 16 which is installed between the respective separator plates 14; the chamber room 26; and an apply orifice 30 which supplies oil to the chamber room 26. The piston 12 includes: a communication hole 58 which is communicated with an inside and outside of the chamber room 26 and of which diameter is smaller than that of the apply orifice 30; and a pressing part 60 which presses the separator plate 14 installed at a closest position to the piston 12 among the plurality of separator plates 14.
