<p>A receiving apparatus for a test signal provided on a transmission line in which alternating-current coupling is achieved includes a detection circuit configured to determine whether or not a signal amplitude of the transmission line is more than or equal to a reference value, a control circuit configured to control the detection circuit to be in an active state during a connection test for the transmission line, and a reproduction circuit configured to reproduce a transmission waveform from a transmission apparatus on the transmission line on a basis of a determination result of the signal amplitude in the detection circuit when the signal amplitude changes from a value less than the reference value to a value more than the reference value and further the signal amplitude changes from a value more than the reference value to a value less than the reference value.</p> |
