A connector for terminating to a terminal post having a connector body (12) and a lever (14). The connector body (12) has clamping arms (24, 26), with the clamping arms (24, 26) having outwardly directed cam surfaces (28). The lever (14) is connected to the connector body (12) for pivotal movement thereabout between an unclamped position and a clamped position. The lever (14) has activation members (42, 44) with inwardly directed cam surfaces (48). The rotation of the lever (14) from the unclamped position to the clamped position causes the inwardly directed cam surface (48) to progressively engage the outwardly directed cam surfaces (28), causing the clamping arms (24, 26) to be moved toward each other thereby clamping the connector to the terminal post without the need for tools.
