<p>This invention relates to an expandable item of luggage. This enables a luggage item to be expanded to accommodate an increased volume of luggage. The luggage item is defined by a base (10), front (2), back (26), side (6) and top (4) portion. The base and top portions are spaced in a longitudinal axis and define a storage zone therebetween. The luggage item further comprises an expansion arrangement (22) configured to enable expansion of the top portion (4) independently of the front portion (2) in the longitudinal axis between a retracted and expanded configuration to cause an effective increase in the volume of the storage zone.</p> |
