A safety seat 100 includes a seat 1 and a height adjusting component 2 that is separably disposed under the seat 1. A opposite first 21 and second 22 portions, heights of which are different. The safety seat 100 is usable in one of a first height mode and a second height mode. In the first height mode, the first portion 21 is disposed over the second portion 22, and in the second height mode, the first portion 21 is disposed under the second portion 22. Preferably the seat portion 1 has in inner abutting portion 122 and the height adjusting component has a body 20 and at least on rib 23 that extends laterally from the body 20 and which divides the body 20 into first 21 and second portions 22. The rib 23 may have surfaces 231, 232 for abutting the inner abutting surface 122 of seat portion 1. To adjust the height the height adjusting component is flipped upside down. |
